Congratulations to former CUE undergraduate intern Aaron Benavidez for winning the University Medal and being named the top graduating senior at UC Berkeley. You can read about Aaron’s amazing story here and here.
Beginning October 2011 CUE graduate fellow Silvia Pasquetti will be a Junior Research Fellow of Clare Hall College at Cambridge University as well as a Research Associate at CUE. Congrats!

CUE fellows Corey M. Abramson and Darren Modzelewski's new article in Qualitative Sociology, entitled "Caged Morality: Moral Worlds, Subculture, and Stratification Among Middle-Class Cage-Fighters," is now available online via springer publications here.
CUE is now officially part of Berkeley's Institute for the Study of Societal Issues (ISSI), which encompasses ten research centers. You can visit ISSI here.
